A new Canadian tradition where the spirit of prairie grain comes to rest in oak barrels in our distillery on the historic Guysborough harbour, we’re proud to bring our Double Barrelled Rye to Ontario. Barrel aging by the Atlantic lends a distinct Maritime character to our small batch spirits, a character that lives in the blood of many Ontarians whose families found their start on Canada’s East Coast.
For Ontario whisky drinkers who are new to GLYNNEVAN, our Double Barrelled Rye opens with layers of aroma starting with sweet rye spices and honey, followed by toasted oak, vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of tropical fruit. The taste is sweet and creamy delivering vanilla, spice, hazelnut, butter, toffee and caramel. The finish is long and warm, the perfect toast to the people who matter most in your life.
