Our Story

Created by Proprietor Glynn Williams as a tribute to his son Evan, GLYNNEVAN^® Whisky celebrates the traditions that bring family and friends together. Every bottle is the culmination of a journey across our great nation – a new Canadian tradition where the spirit of prairie grain comes to rest in oak barrels in our distillery on the historic Guysborough harbour. Barrel aging by the sea lends a distinct Maritime character to our small batch spirit, creating uniquely Canadian rye whiskies that are our toast to the ties that bind us together.
